The blog for my philosophy class

I have shown extraordinary restraint in the substitute assignment I have created for my philosophy class. I was away at a convention so had them talk on a blog to substitute for a missed class.

Maybe I should clarify that I was talking about the Bush and Darfur entries, which I think explose the fact that freedom and democracy are not the dominant concerns driving the Iraq war.

I enjoyed reading some of these posts...I'm wondering however if any of the students resonant (as I do) with Kant's categorical imperative versus utilitarian/egoist or other ethical positions?

My impression especially on the issue of homosexual behavior was that most resonated with the duty approach to ethics (although I called it moral principles here--in class we talked about the categorical imperative).
